CUI has announced the addition of four ultra-thin converter series to its isolated DC-DC converter line. The PYBJ3 series of isolated DC-DC converters are suitable for use in convection-cooled equipment and applications, including microcontrollers, datacom, telecom, remote sensor systems and portable electronics.
Four versions of the series are available. The PYBJ3-OD in open frame series in a 6-pin DIP package. The PYBJ3-D is an encapsulated series in a 6-pin DIP package. There are also two surface mount series, the PYBJ3-OM and the PYBJ3-M, which are open frame and encapsulated, respectively.
All versions offer these features:
- 2:1 and 4:1 input voltage range
- 3W of power
- Single regulated output
- 1500VDC isolation
- 125 to 600mA output current
- -40 to +85°C operating temperature range
- Low profile
- Over voltage, over current, and short circuit protection
The DC-DC converters are priced at $12.99 for a single unit through distribution. Distributors include Digi-Key, Mouser and Arrow.
