4K Video Wall Solution Meets Signage Needs

Key Digital has announced its new turnkey KD-VW4x4Pro4K 4K video wall matrix AV over IP kit. It’s well suited for any installation of four panel video walls. The network-based KD-VW4x4Pro4K kit includes four encoders, four decoders, and a pre-configured Linksys LGS308MP network switch all installed on a mounting shelf with pre-installed CAT6A patch cables ready to arrive on-site for a simple plug-in-play experience to deliver a flexible and functional 4K video wall.

Features include engineer tested and approved network switch pre-configuration, WI-FI access point connectivity option, and audio de-embedding with pre-amp functionality for volume, muting control, EQ and delay. The audio de-embed and pre-amp features are made possible thanks to the inclusion of a single KD-IP922 encoder, which allows the integrator to choose any one source for de-embedding.

The KD-VW4x4Pro4K provides a panel-flip feature and bezel adjustment. Panel-flip allows integrators to install their top row of televisions upside down to reduce the gap in the middle of the video wall due to the thick bezel on the bottom of consumer panels. Bezel compensation can be adjusted to fine-tune the video wall to fit different screen types.

According to Key Digital, the KD-VW4x4Pro4K joins a suite of its IP controllable products that are now app-ready. With the free Key Digital App, KD-App, downloadable from the App Store, installers and end-users can easily switch inputs and control both systems with an engaging finger-drag video wall management.
