Build your own Z80 computer was given to me by the EE in charge of the video arcade franchise I worked for.
I was a pin ball mechanic … and the EE tasked me with upgrading a PACMAN to a MS. PACMAN (no, not gender reassignment). Z80A -> B, new crystal, 8 new PROM sockets and PROMS, character generator … desolder, cleanup, solder in new.

I was a business/accounting major and I was terrified.

12 board sets, not a single rework.
