Wireless MCUs Support 2.4GHz and Sub-1GHz Bands

Texas Instruments has revealed plans to add 16 new wireless MCUs, to be released throughout 2021. With the Simplelink product family expansion, embedded system developers can go from a Sub-1GHz or 2.4GHz product with 352KB of flash up to 704KB of flash while maintaining the same package footprint and application programming interfaces.

The news was announced via a TI blog post “Seamlessly connect your world with 16 new wireless MCUs for the 2.4-GHz and Sub-1-GHz bands,” by TI’s Kevin Koestler.

The table includes details of the 16 new devices.
