VanZandt/Eagle Automation joins the partner program at FreeWave to expand IIoT into the energy marketplace. VanZandt Controls/Eagle Automation has become a value-added distributor for FreeWave Technologies. VanZandt/Eagle is a leading company in valve automation, flow measurement, controls, and instrumentation.
The move is coupled with the acquisition of Commercial Radio, by VanZandt/Eagle Automation. Commercial radio has been a distributor of industrial communications products including wired, microwave, cameras, solar, towers, antenna, radio, and Wi-Fi.
The acquisition has enabled VanZadt/Eagle to offer FreeWave solutions for 13 of its branch locations. FreeWave works within the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), edge computing, and remote site connectivity industry. They are well known for producing solutions that have robust, rugged, and reliable connectivity options. With a focus on the remote industrial operating spectrum.
Of the partnership, FreeWave said in a statement “We look forward to serving VanZandt’s expansive customer base with FreeWave solutions that bring their data closer to them no matter when they need it or where they are. VanZandt is a proven leader in many industrial segments where we can align to bring the best solutions for remote data.”
