In May 2022 Lantronix announced its G520 series of next-generation IoT cellular gateways had won the Product of the Year award for the industrial internet of things (IoT) at IoT Evolution World.
Lantronix received the award for providing the best overall support in meeting the needs of users in industry 4.0 security and transport applications. The G520 provided flexibility to edge computing via advanced technologies.

Those advanced technologies

The G520 comes pre-configured with Lantronix’s own ConsoleFlow. A cloud-based device management system, as well as Lantronix’s connectivity package.

According to Berg Insights, 3.7 million IoT gateways were sold during 2020, at a total market value of close to $1.01 billion USD. Analysts are forecasting shipments of cellular IoT gateways will grow at a CAGR of 14.4% from 2020 – 2025. That should reach a total of 7.2 million units by 2025.

“This award validates our strategy of providing end-to-end IoT solutions that provide our customers with the proven integration, essential security and ease-of-use needed for success in today’s IoT-driven world,” said Paul Pickle, CEO of Lantronix.

“It is my pleasure to recognize Lantronix for its innovative work and superior contribution to the rapidly evolving IoT industry,” said Moe Nagle, senior editor of IoT Evolution World.

The G520 offers LTE CAT 4 and %G cellular gateways for long-term IoT application investment. The systems are designed for industrial applications and have built-in security to thwart cyber-attacks. The G520 offers a reliable and robust solution to mission-critical applications.

The G520 series are pre-enabled with the ConsoleFlow device management system, and cellular Connectivity Services cloud-based platform applications, that are simple to use and easily set-up on the systems.

The key features of the G520 series are

  • Rugged
  • compact
  • highly secure
