Elecrow, a Shenzhen-based open hardware facilitation company, is excited to announce the launch of its latest innovation, the LoRaWan Gateway Module. This groundbreaking product is designed to revolutionize IoT communication.
At the heart of Elecrow’s LoRaWan Gateway Module is the ESP32-WROOM-32, a powerful main controller. Integrated with the Ra-01H module, which serves as the RF transceiver module for LoRa communication, this gateway offers reliable long-range communication. It comes in two firmware versions, catering to different frequency bands (868MHz and 915MHz) and empowering users to establish secure networks effortlessly.
Adhering to the Lorawan 1.0.3 standard, Elecrow’s LoRaWan Gateway Module ensures compatibility with various Lorawan sensors available in the market. When combined with sensor nodes and the comprehensive control panel provided by The Things Network cloud, it forms a robust Lorawan sensor acquisition system, enabling efficient data gathering and analysis.
To enhance user experience and provide convenient data monitoring, Elecrow has equipped the LoRaWan Gateway Module with a 1.8-inch resistive touch screen boasting a resolution of 128×160 pixels. Through the SPI interface, users can easily observe the gateway’s data transmission status, check acquired IP data, and navigate the module’s functionalities.
The module features a high-performance 2.5Dbi antenna, ensuring exceptional communication range. In ideal conditions, it achieves an impressive communication distance of up to 1.5km, even in urban areas where it guarantees a reliable connection within a maximum distance of 0.7km. For users who require extended coverage, the module supports the use of higher gain antennas, enabling greater communication distances.
Elecrow’s LoRaWan Gateway Module offers versatility and is well-suited for a wide range of applications. Whether it’s establishing a LoRaWAN IoT network for smart homes, industrial automation, or agricultural control, this gateway module provides a reliable and secure communication solution. Seamlessly compatible with LoRa node modules, LoRa development boards, and other IoT devices, it empowers users to create comprehensive and interconnected IoT ecosystems.
