To refresh the general audience on the most recent Dell additions to its product lineup, we get Dell’s new Internet of Things (IoT) products that are helping to simplify deployments.
Simplified “Things” Management.
The Pulse IoT Center by VMWare is a secure IoT infrastructure management solution that enables customers to have complete control of their connected devices. The Pulse IoT Center helps users to manage, scale, operate, and protect their IoT projects from the edge to the cloud. Dell offers this product as a preferred enterprise management and monitoring solution for Dell Edge Gateways. It’s a matter of plugging in Pulse IoT Center into the new EdgeX Foundry, VMWare will be able to offer system and device management for the EdgeX ecosystem.

Dell contributed over a dozen microservices and more than 125K lines of code, under Apache2.0 to seed the project. Additional contributions are already enhancing the project from other members. EdgeX Foundry is architected so it can work on any hardware, on any operating system with microservices developed in any application environment for maximum scale.
Some of the key partnerships that Dell has created since the inception of the program.
Dell and Bosch
The two companies have jointly developed an Industry 4.0 jump start kit to help customers implement IoT projects quickly that are aimed at realizing ROI faster.
The kit includes multiple Bosch XDK sensors, Dell Edge Gateway, ready-to-go use cases, cloud integration, and software that is completely preconfigured.
Atos and Dell EMC
The partnership between these two strong companies is working together to build an IoT service management framework, called Atos Codex IoT Services. This allows users to be assured that all the users can continuously create value from connected devices.
Atom AMPD will bundle its enterprise-level communications software with Dell Edge gateways and Embedded Box PCs.
