Axiomtek announces the MANO526, a scalable Mini-ITX Motherboard aimed at smart city IIoT

Axiomtek launches the MANO256, a high-performance MINI-ITX motherboard, which is scalable and offers many I/O ports. The interfaces include two Gigabit LANs, featuring  Intel Ethernet i211-AT and i219-LM, four USB 2.0, four USB 3.0 ports, and six com ports.


The company states that the MANO256 has a triple view feature, meant to manage multi-screen setups, such as digital signage, and multimonitor arrays. Well suited for kiosks and menu boards, which are becoming so popular everywhere.

Choices for a compatible CPU are the 9th/8th Gen Intel Core, Intel Pentium Gold, and Intel Celeron processor families. The RAM is two 260 pin, DDR4 – 2666/2400 SO-DIMM  sockets that can manage up to 32GB of memory

There are two SATA-600 connectors as well as a single M.2 Key M slot for up to NVMe to add on additional storage. The board also has one PCIe x16 slot, and an M.2 Key E, for wireless modules. With an expansive array of I/Os, the MANO256 is complemented by an RS-232/4222/485, with a +5/+12V power, five RS-232, a DisplayPort++, one eDP, one HDMI, and a single HD Codec audio input.

The operating temperature is a healthy 0° to 60°C. For in-depth security, the MANO256 also features the Trusted Platform Module 2.0 and a watchdog timer.

The MANO256 of solutions for integrators that can push IIoT projects forward. It offers enhanced speed and reliability according to Axiomtek. The CPU choices cover LGA 1151, i7, i5, i3 for an expanded range of processors.

The industries that the MANO256 is aimed at, include smart retailing, self-service kiosks, IIoT applications, and medical imaging.
