Mini Node

Motorola Flash Innovation 2003 – Design Contest
Distinctive Excellence

Kamal Gendi

The Mini Node is a creative solution to the horizontal switch plates now popular in Australia. To continue using an HCS II and X10 system for home control, the 68HC908QT4-based Mini Node connects to the HCS II via the RS-485 network. It automates house lights that are controlled by more then one wall switch.
