Adding fun to digital brochures ComQi displays the media, for CTM Media content. The partnership between CTM Media, and ComQi has been in place since 2006, and is stronger than ever, with the latest displays being updated since the pandemic.
CTM Media is well-known in the hospitality and travel industries, and ComQi is a well-respected manufacturer of displays and display technology. Since 2006 ComQi has developed a number of systems that are used throughout the industry.
Starting with a flash display that was a 15-inch LCD display all-in-one compact all-in-one solution for the top of brochure stands. This was an enhancement to the paper brochures that CTM was offering to travelers for events and travel locations.
In 2011 the company offered CTM an interactive display solution based on the VisitorFun database and working to engage tourists and travelers, in further in-depth research into their locales. The Visitorfun database offers travelers and event-goers images, text, videos, and other rich media.
The challenge was to bring the online experience to the hospitality venue through an interactive digital display. The challenges focused on using the existing database in the interactive environment. Updating and enhancing what already existed with what was new.
Using the API tools from ComQi created an immersive and interactive touchscreen program. They deployed 32-inch and 42-inch touchscreen displays utilizing an enhanced and extended VistorFun database, rather than creating a whole new – second – database for the interactive experience.
The hardware for this transformative system is now at the best-in-class industry standard. With digital players for all types of displays, including video walls.
There the players come in a series
OPS (Open pluggable specification) and SDM (Smart Display Modules) Players
- RP733 OPS
- RP 800 SDM
- RP 820 SDM
ComQi also offers a range of display hardware, to match their software, the EnGage CMS.
